Apollo hired three managing directors this week, and one of them came from Carlyle. Joe Kurche, a Principal in Carlyle's capital markets team since 2015, starts at Apollo as a Managing Director. Colby McVey arrives from Franklin Templeton's institutional client team and George Allen from a partnership at PwC. Carlyle also lost Buddy Carter, a Principal of eight years, to the Texas real estate investor Stonelake Capital Partners.
