AE Industrial Partners had the busiest week on our list, and all of it went out of the door. Paul McElhinney, who spent eight years at the firm and ran its portfolio strategy group as a senior operating partner, is now chief executive of StandardAero, the listed engine maintenance business, which announced his appointment on 29 September. Peter Schumacher, a partner, is now chief operating officer at Singularity Defense. Both left to run companies rather than oversee them.
