Being busy isn’t a badge. It’s an admission of poor design.

Somewhere along the way, we made “busy” a personality trait. Ask anyone how they’ve been and the default answer is the same: “Busy.” Like it’s proof of relevance. A humblebrag wrapped in exhaustion.

People wear their overcommitment like armour. Too busy to think. Too busy to prioritise. Too busy to schedule a 30-minute call before the third week of next month. As if a jammed calendar somehow means they’re winning.

We’ve industrialised distraction.
Meetings about meetings. Slack theatre. Email marathons. A cult of chaos that confuses noise for output and activity for achievement.
